Museum-quality Taxidermy

At www.OzarkTaxidermy.com, we can create completely realistic mounts of virtually any trophy fish you've ever caught. All we need is a photograph and the measurements. The fish not only look real, they look alive. Reproduction mounts cost $13 per inch and come mounted on a piece of driftwood. Special requests like custom habitat work, pursuit mounts (i.e. chasing a lure or baitfish), wooden plaques, custom-engraved nameplates, etc., are all available for an additional charge.

Of course, we also mount real fish. Skin-mounting fish is often a controversial subject on this website, seeing how catch-&-release is important to many trout fishermen. Don't be shy, though. The fact is, while catch & release as a habit is a great idea, removing a dominant fish from an ecosystem actually benefits the fish population as a whole. In other words, we won't judge you!

Of course we also mount deer heads, otters, boar, bobcats, pheasants, squirrel, turkeys, coyotes, quail, elk, rabbits... you get the idea. Pick-up and delivery services are available within reason, and animals can be shipped without difficulty. You can order a trout reproduction simply by emailing your photo and fish measurements to: or by calling us at (573) 426-3300 to discuss it. We also have plenty of folks mail us their fish to mount. It's really not difficult. Give us yell if we can help with this.

You can earn extra money and free advertising on Missouri Trout Hunter by becoming a drop station for Ozark Taxidermy. It's easy! Just give us a yell to discuss it.
